Welcome to FukuroChat, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that enables users to create custom conversational assistants using knowledge bases generated from user-provided content. By registering for or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. Definitions
- FukuroChat: The SaaS platform provided for creating AI-powered assistants from user-generated content.
- User: Any individual or entity who registers an account and uses the services of FukuroChat.
- User Content: Texts, articles, files, or any other materials uploaded or generated by the User within the platform.
- Chat Widget: A script generated by FukuroChat that can be embedded in external websites to respond to queries using the User's content.
- Third-Party Services: External services used to operate FukuroChat, including but not limited to OpenAI, Qdrant, PayPal, and hosting providers.
- Plans: The subscription levels offered by FukuroChat, including a free plan and three paid plans with increasing functionality.
2. Account Registration
Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
Users are responsible for providing accurate information and for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
FukuroChat is not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from negligence.
3. Plans, Payments, and Billing
FukuroChat offers a free plan with limited capabilities and other paid plans with additional features.
All paid plans are automatically renewed via PayPal.
No direct refunds are issued. When a User upgrades or downgrades their plan, any unused balance is pro-rated with a 10% discount of original plan and applied to the new subscription if applicable.
Users can cancel their subscription at any time through their account settings. Cancellation stops the next renewal but does not affect the current billing period.
4. Support and Service Level Agreement (SLA)
Support is provided via email and a web contact form.
Response time targets are 48 business hours for standard plans and 24 business hours for the Enterprise plan.
Support is available during business days and hours (CLT time zone).
5. Acceptable Use
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Using the service for illegal or unauthorized purposes
- Sending spam or launching abusive automation
- Uploading malware or malicious code
- Scraping or overloading the system
- Impersonation or violation of third-party rights
- FukuroChat reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts violating these rules without refund.
6. User Content and Privacy
Users retain all rights to their own content.
FukuroChat does not access, reuse, or train AI models with User Content.
User Content is processed only to operate the personalized assistants created by the User.
7. Use of Third-Party Service
FukuroChat relies on third-party services (e.g., OpenAI, Qdrant, PayPal). Your use of the platform is also subject to the terms and conditions of these services.-
FukuroChat is not responsible for failures, changes, or limitations related to these providers.
8. Account Termination and Data Deletion
Users may delete their account at any time.
Upon deletion, User Content is permanently deleted inmediatly.
FukuroChat may automatically delete inactive accounts (no activity or active subscription) after 60 consecutive days.
Certain sections (e.g., intellectual property, limitation of liability) may survive termination.
9. Limitation of Liability
FukuroChat is provided “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted service or error-free operation.
We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from use or inability to use the service.
Total liability is limited to the amount paid by the User in the previous 3 months.
10. Modifications
FukuroChat may modify these Terms, features, plans, or pricing at any time.
Changes will be communicated to registered Users at least 15 days in advance. Continued use of the platform after such notice constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
FukuroChat Connector — Shopify App: Privacy & Data Practices
Applicability
This section describes how FukuroChat and the FukuroChat Connector Shopify app (the “App”) collect, use, share and delete information when merchants install or use the App. These provisions supplement our general Privacy Policy and apply specifically to the Shopify integration.
Data Collected by the Connector
- Store domain and Shopify shop ID
- Store owner/administrator contact information (name, email)
- Product catalog data: titles, descriptions, SKUs, prices, inventory status, and related metadata
- App configuration and settings, including the FukuroChat assistant UUID and sync settings
- Usage and diagnostic logs (errors, API request metadata, timestamps)
Note: The Connector does not collect or store customer personal data from storefront visitors unless merchants explicitly provide such data via app configuration.
How We Use Connector Data
- To synchronize product catalog data with the FukuroChat assistant and generate AI responses based on merchant content
- To operate, maintain and improve the App (background syncs, diagnostics, troubleshooting)
- To communicate about account, billing, support and important updates
Third‑Party Services & Data Sharing
The App uses third‑party providers (for example: OpenAI for AI processing, Qdrant for vector search, PayPal for billing, and hosting/analytics providers). Where necessary, we share the minimum required data (e.g., product text or assistant identifiers) with these providers to deliver App functionality. We do not sell or rent merchant data. All third‑party access is governed by contracts and applicable privacy safeguards.
Data Retention & Deletion
- When the App is uninstalled, store‑specific configuration and sync data will be deleted from our servers within 30 days.
- Merchants may request immediate deletion of all data associated with their store by contacting support; verified requests will be processed and completed within 30 days.
- We may retain aggregated, anonymized usage data for analytics and product improvement; such data cannot be used to identify your store.
Shopify Data Deletion Requests
If you receive a Shopify customer data deletion request that involves data handled by the App, contact us immediately. We will follow Shopify's Data Deletion guidelines and respond within the timeframes required by Shopify and applicable law.
Security & International Transfers
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. Our services and third‑party providers may process data in multiple countries; by using the App you consent to cross‑border transfer, storage and processing in accordance with this policy.
